The Center for Interfaith Relations celebrates the diversity of faith traditions, expresses gratitude for our unity, and strengthens the role of faith in society through common action. We host the nationally renowned Festival of Faiths and offer year-round programming that fosters compassion in our world.

We are committed to sharing the insights and inspiration rooted in the wisdom of faith traditions, and we strive to cultivate communities that are true to our motto of “Many Faiths, One Heart, Common Action.”

Partnered with Kentucky Interfaith Network on a Food Justice Summit in January and a Summit on Belonging in April.
Joined the Sister Thea Bowman Society for Racial Solidarity and the (Un)Known Project for a day of remembrance in February to read the names of 1,630 free and enslaved Black people buried in mostly unmarked graves.
Honored the 2024 Grawemeyer Award in Religion winner, Rev. Dr. Charles Halton, with a reception at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary following his public talk in March.
Invited young writers to participate in our Young Authors Sacred Essay Contest, sharing perspectives on love and its power to transform lives.
Featured diverse local faith communities through our Sacred Kaleidoscope blog series, shedding light on the unique ways in which they enrich our city.
Launched the entire lineup from the 2023 Festival of Faiths, Sacred Hearts, Sacred Minds: Embodying Love, on YouTube.
Hosted another in our series of “Faith-Ins” in partnership with Louisville Public Media and Louisville Magazine.
Collaborated with the Muhammad Ali Center on its exhibit, “Seeing the Other: Sacred Listening & Portraits of Faith.”
