This week’s #WisdomWednesday features Harvard University law professor Dr. Noah R. Feldman at the 2017 Festival of Faiths. In this session, entitled “Compassion in World Affairs,” Feldman discusses the intersection of religion and politics. He starts his talk by referencing William Shakespeare’s “The Merchant of Venice,” in which the protagonist Portia gives a speech about “the deep contradiction” between justice and mercy.
We invite you to watch the rest of the talk on our YouTube channel.
