Dr. Janardhanan (Johnny) Alse is a Hindu by birth and regularly attends the Hindu Temple of Kentucky (HTKY). He currently serves HTKY as Chair of the Pooja (Hindu Rituals) committee. In the past, he has served as Managing Director and Chair, Board of Trustees of the temple.

“I feel a strong connection with the mission of ‘strengthening the role of faith in society through common action’.  My faith has guided me most of my life.  Knowing that the CIR board is a mixture of all faiths in the community, it creates the opportunity for me to learn about other faiths and how we can work together to develop program and events to support our mission.”
