“One contribution to society of all faith traditions is the sustained reflection, practice, and wisdom a faith community gathers over long periods of time. Those voices of compassion and reason can act as both anchor and inspiration as people work to build a more peaceful and just society. The Center for Interfaith Relations serves as a place where those contributions can be found, encountered and applied to pressing issues of the day. I want to be engaged in that work of service. Also, serving on the board keeps me in touch with an impressive gathering of soulful and empowering people who share my passion for making connections between faith and life. It is a rare privilege to do so.”
