CALLING ALL MEDITATION GROUPS
The Center for Interfaith Relations is working in partnership with the Passionist Earth and Spirit Center, Interfaith Paths to Peace, the City of Louisville Office for Globalization, the Louisville Vipassana Community and Beads on One String to compile a list of resources for meditation and contemplative practices within the Louisville metropolitan area. The list will be available during the May 2013 Festival of Faiths and the Engaging Compassion – Dalai Lama Louisville events. It will include information about meditation groups that meet on a regular basis; meditation classes; and public “quiet places” designated for contemplation, meditation or silent reflection.

If you have information that might be appropriate for this resource, send an email to festivaloffaiths@interfaithrelations.org by Thursday, March 7. Be sure to include: the name of your organization; dates, times and locations of your events or meetings; and contact information (phone number, email address and/or website) for those who may be interested in attending.

DALAI LAMA LOUISVILLE UPDATE
There are plenty of tickets available to see the Dalai Lama on Monday, May 20, for the Public Buddhist Teaching. You do not have to be a Buddhist to attend the event. For more information, log onto www.dalailamalouisville.org.
