Each year, the Festival of Faiths features nationally renowned speakers who share their views and insights on how to promote unity and strengthen our community. In an effort to make these speakers as accessible as possible to our target audiences, the Festival of Faiths collaborates with several partner organizations to offer more than one chance to see these speakers during the Festival. Compassion and Community

Kentucky Center for African American Heritage
Rev. Campbell and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer will talk about how compassion is defined in our congregations, Louisville’s efforts to set the standard for what defines a “Compassionate City” and how these efforts follow the guidelines set in the international Charter for Compassion.

Compassion in Congregations: Worship and Luncheon

Following a worship service in Caldwell Chapel, Rev. Campbell will be the keynote speaker at a luncheon at Hundley Hall in Gardencourt, where she will share her insights on how compassion is defined and exercised in our religious congregations.

Scott Brusaw will be among the presenters for this event, which is open to middle school and high school students.
