Summer at the Center 2018-06-28T00:24:43+00:00

Join our community as we read The Soul of Money by 2018 Festival Speaker Lynne Twist. Follow along for new reading questions every other week and engage with other readers on social media. Join us for an End-of-the-Summer virtual Book Club meeting Thursday, September 6.

Poetry of the Sacred

Inspired by the legacy of Thomas Merton – monk, poet, hermit, activist, artist and interfaith pioneer – this annual contest encourages poets to awaken the reader to the deep meaning and beauty of a contemplative life.

Open for submissions through 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Embodied Movement

Start your morning with us in the Garden every other Thursday at 8am for a free practice in Yoga, Tai Chi, or Nia. Coffe generously provided by Heine Brothers. All levels welcome, no experience necessary!

The Center for Interfaith Relations is participating in Give for Good Louisville, the biggest day of local giving! Our goal is to raise $55,000 to support our mission and strengthen our community of many faiths, one heart, common action.

Designate your Give for Good gift to the Center for Interfaith Relations Thursday, September 13, 2018.

#FindYourSacred this Summer!

Summer has arrived!

And with it we welcome an exciting new season of community programming at the Center for Interfaith Relations. We hope that you will join us, in person and virtually, as we launch our very first summer book club; tap into our inner poets through the poetry of the sacred; explore the benefits of various embodied movement practices; and gear up for our fifth year participating in Give for Good Louisville.

Whether you are local to Louisville, or a virtual friend, there is something for everyone!
