This week’s #WisdomWednesday features a Q&A from the 2015 Festival of Faiths. In the clip, Pan-African Studies professor Elizabeth Jones wonders, “How many white parents are having the race conversation with their kids? … While children of color are having these conversations, are white children having these conversations, and are they having discussions about privilege?” The Rev. Willie Francois III follows up by saying he doesn’t want white allies to be motivated by guilt; “I want you to be motivated in this work because it’s right.”
